The odd thing is that if he realized he was standing he would drop to his butt- but if he was distracted he would just keep standing... for example a little over a week ago he was playing on one of the ottomans in out living room he let go and was "talking" to me for about 1 minute while standing on his own, then he looked down at the ottoman and realized that he hadn't been holding on, just standing on his own, he got scared and started whining and plopped himself down on the ground- I think it's funny: he can stand and walk, he just wouldn't do it most of the time.
Parker has been taking one or two steps at a time since right before he turned 9 months, He does it all the time now, but I'll post some of that when he is actually walking, not just taking a few steps. :)
