Vday '14

We had valentine's Day parties with our homeschool groups.
For one the kids exchanged valentines and I let my kids make their own

Parker made several Valentines basicallythe same as this

I love this one...
A multiple choice question about age and then a math problem on the right...That's my Parker boy!

Aria made this

And this
Here are the few that Terra made:

We had another Valentine's party later with our other group. Lots of treats there : )

We also had a countdown for the first 14 days of February. Each day had a scripture about love and loves notes for each member of my family.
Last last day was a scripture about love and service and we went to Grandma Tieman's hose to pick weeds to serve her, then we helped her cut down citrus to show our love!
And I also had a Valentine's party to go to. I made a  valentine and a box to go with it, the Valentine folds up like a heart and said "I love you with my whole butt. I would would say heart, but my butt is bigger"
The box said the same thing and Jason even brought the box into work for some fun stuff they did for the day.

January Stuff

Just a pile of random pictures from the month of January

One of our most used Christmas presents-
The plasma Car

Sad Terra
She always has the most dramatic and best facial expressions

Queen Aria

Sitting in a bag, of course
These next pictures were taken at my moms house... remember it's January! I LOVE AZ!

My girls helped do their own hair and we got some cute pictures of them and their big brother:

When I was decorating the cake for Parker's birthday party I let the kids have some fondant and they decorated these cupcakes:
It's abstract

Terra really got attached to her blankets and even wanted to climb with it

Messy and cute!
We had our first set of stitches. Parker tripped and fell on the sidewalk and cut open his chin. He got stitches and I took this picture after it had healed for a bit and we were about to remove the stitches

I went to take a picture of baby Corin before church
and then the girls wanted in on it, too....

Corin at 4 months

Corin Jon Tieman at 4 months old:

Weight: 18lbs, 95th%
Height: 25-1/2inches 75th%
Head Circumference: 75th%

Totally the chubbiest baby I've had. My first three were also skinny I thought that is how all of our babies wold be, but I was wrong we got a fluffy one
And did you see that head circumference??? Under the 95th% people!

Corin is the most smiley baby I've had. It doesn't take much to get a big toothless grin out of him or even a little baby laugh

He loves to be held and I baby wear so we have a good thing going here!

He loves to be talked or sung to with eye contact. I know it sounds so simple but he really loves having some one talk TO him.

Some pictures of his fourth month:

He started getting wiggly and he would scoot himself right out of his carseat/swing

Chubby Thighs

And a little video of him here

Gilbert Temple

Back in January the kids and I went to the Gilbert Temple to tour it before the dedication.
It was gorgeous inside and I'm grateful I was able to take my kids, hopefully they understand how important the Temple is!
Yes, Parker wore his tie like this
No I don't care

And they were pretty much done by the time we got out, and people weren't exactly being *polite* in the picture spots so I couldn't get anything good.

Oh well.
