2 Months

My chubby baby is two months old.
We went to the doctor this morning:
Height: 23-3/4"---Between the 90th and 95th%
Weight: 13lbs 2oz---95th%
Head Circumference: Just over the 95th%

The doctor took Terra and as he was laying her down on her stomach he asked if she liked tummy time yet- I said yes- And he looked at me like he was surprised and said "Really??" So then he laid her down and she instantly rolled off of her stomach (and almost off the exam table). He laughed and said "I guess she is good at tummy time"
She doesn't roll often but she's capable- I love my chubby rolly baby!

She started smiling a few weeks ago:
Also a few weeks ago- A visit to the cardiologist- She's in perfect condition!

Holding her head up

And here's a goofy habit of hers:
I know it's hard to tell what's going on so I'll just tell you- she pulls her own hair. Sometimes hard- and it makes her cry. Crazy Baby!
She has also started trying to suck her thumb- we're trying to stop her- hopefully it will work and we won't have another thumb-sucker like Aria.

Terra has been our fussy baby. Several nights with no sleep (seriously- less than an hour of sleep between 7pm and 7am). Cranky, gassy, tiring days. But it's getting better. We've figured out some tips and tricks to help her sleep and stay calm, and maybe she's also just growing out of needing to cry 24/7. I would still say she's crankier than my other two- but she's already better than she was.Thank Goodness!

Fussy or not, we're happy to have this sweet chubby baby in our lives.

Upside-Down

Parker recently went through a little phase where he really liked to be upside down

TWO!!

Aria is two.

She loves babies. She loves her baby dolls and seeing babies at church and at least a couple times a day she sees Terra and yells "Buh-beeeeee" (Baby, of course)

She is such a wiggly busy body. She digs into/climbs onto/ messes with EVERYTHING. She has basically zero attention span, too. She picks up a book looks at two pages, drops it and walks away, then picks up a toy and brings it to me, then before I can even start playing with it with her- she walks away and finds another toy. She is exhausting.

Her speech has improved amazingly these past few weeks. Oddly enough she is probably at the same point that Parker was when he turned ONE since he was such an amazing talker and she was behind in that area.

Aria went to the doctor last week
Height: ?- It was the 25%
Weight: 25lbs 4oz: 25%
So, Jason was the one who took her to her check-up, since I was working. That's why we don't know the actual height.
She may be little, but she's doing well.

**UPDATE** A week later at a WIC appointment, Aria was 33-1/2 inches tall.

On her birthday our families came over and we had a little party for her.

Birthday Girl
She got some presents from the grand-parents

And we had some cake and ice cream

I know she seems really calm in the video- but only because she was slightly confused. Normally she's a little fire-cracker.

Sleeper

Terra is a bit fussy. Nothing works with her all of the time, but there are a few things we've figured out to get the crying under control (at least on some days).
One was to lay her on her stomach while she was propped up on a pillow.
Not only did it help her to stay asleep for more than 3 minutes- it was also adorable:

Parks Trip

Last week we took the opportunity to get out of the HEAT and went to the cabin with Jason's parents.

The drive up:
Reading, holding hands and a little sleep- we have such good kids

Of course, for kiddos one of the major attractions is the train tracks that are just a couple minutes away

and coloring

And the tire swing

The weather was GORGEOUS. High;s in the upper 70s.
A little rain a few days.
Plenty of clouds and fresh air.

So we took advantage and spent a bunch of time outside, which is something we avoid here in Phoenix.

Going for a walk...

Picking Flowers...

And Eating Dirt

We spent some time inside relaxing (and reading)

Proof that Terra was there too.

Terra loved having Grandma Tieman hold her... she slept so well with grandma. I'm thinking of having her move in with us ;)

Parker Boy

Just some silly stuff of Parker

I made this quilt for my mom's nursery class, and as I was taking pictures, Parker puled out his camera and started trying to get some shots also:

He asked me to make a baby carrier for him with his blanket. His actual words were to "Make the baby be stuck to my chest"

Hanging out on the stairs:

Asleep on the couch one day when he was sick:
