October Pictures

Other Pictures from the month of October

Aria playing with the streamers they shot out after the musical in Disneyland.
Cheapest souvenir ever
We had a couple of co-ops in the fall and  this is a picture of the 3 year old Co-op coloring together on the floor

Playing with/feeding the ducks

Aria made herself a crown

Parker wanted jelly and pomegranate seeds on his toast

Aria wearing nylons

For a couple of months Parker was part of a chess club.
He loved learning and playing.

My 3 super cute big kids.

Aria wanted me to attach this scarf into her hair so she could have long Rapunzel hair.
Done!

Just my sweet sleeping baby

Our local library had a Star Wars day. I took three of the kids (Terra was napping I think?)

They had Star wars crafts, Star wars themed treats, a video and light saber battles.

My big kids thought it was awesome, and Corin liked sneaking treats

Halloween Stuff

Here's some of the activities we did leading up to Halloween last year.

We got a white pumpkin and melted orange crayon over it for FHE and used it for a decoration.
Before:

After:

We painted mini-pumpkins:

One morning shortly before Halloween I used tortillas to make jack-o-lantern faces for breakfast

The kids dressed up and ready for Trunk-or-Treat
Aria the "mean witch"

Terra as Cinderella

Me, a butterfly. Mostly because I didn't want to do NOTHING. But this took almost no time

Parker as Darth Vader
We only has blue and green light sabers. Parker didn't like having the wrong color so we ended up borrowing a red one from a friend, we just didn't get a picture of that.

Corin as the cutest little Giraffe ever.

Some pics from that night:

We then had a Halloween party with our Homeschool group and our kids got dressed up again.

This time, Aria wanted and all green face.

We got some 'scary' nail sticker at the dollar store and the girls put them on their nails.

This year was the first year we actually went Trick-or-Treating, instead of just Trunk-or-Treat.
We only went around a couple streets in out neighborhood, but our kids loved it.

Parker

Just some examples of how Sweet Parker is

Parker was doing a few extra chores to earn some money.
Jason asked him "What do you need all this money for anyway?"
Parker's response was "I want to save money to buy a house for when I'm done with college."

Parker had been learning about dinosaurs for a while. He had said that he wanted to be a scientist or a construction worker when he grows up.

One week Terra learned about dinosaurs in her co-op. When she got in the van she talked about it and Parker let us all know that he was thinking of being a paleontologist. He said he wasn't sure, he would be either a paleontologist or a construction worker, but when it was time he would just pray to help him decide.

Corin's Birthday Party

Corin turned one right before we went to Disneyland.
We celebrated by going to parks and out to lunch with him on his birthday, but we waited until after we came back from California to have his party.
For this one year old, 'party' means the grandmas and grandpas

Eating Dinner:

Corin's smash cake:

It was perfect for him, since he loves to bite and eat crayons

 The cake for everyone else:

All Messy:

Opening presents.
Then we sent home the grandparents and went to bed.
Happy birthday little guy!

Corin at One

Corin's stats at one year old:
Height: 30" 50%
Weight: 21lbs 14 oz 25%
Head circumference is still only the 75%!!

Corin learned to walk right before he turned ten months, so at one he is running and climbing all over the place.

Corin doesn't talk much. He has used the words, 'mama' 'dada' 'banana' 'more' 'ball' and 'all done' though he doesn't use any of them regularly.

We've also kind of dropped the ball on sign language with this guy so he doesn't really sign either.

Corin is not a great sleeper. In fact he is by far my worst. Hard to get him to go to sleep, he doesn't stay asleep, and he wakes up with any little sound. I love him, but he makes me tired.

He doesn't do well taking a bottle still. And he doesn't just happen to be breastfeeding still. He LOVES to nurse.

Corin loves to dump and throw toys. He really loves knocking stuff down. He's our little Godzilla-baby while the big kids are playing and building in the loft.

He loves balls. he loves to throw, bounce and kick balls.
