Feet Painting

Can I say I LOVE the internet?

I want to do fun stuff with my kids, but I'm only so creative on my own

Here's an idea I found and they loved.

Painting on easel paper with their feet!

And hands

We put paint on the paper and they tracked through it, then they wanted to put the paint directly on their fett, then walk. then they splatter-painted a bit and finger painted as well.

At the end I went to rinse off their feet and they decided to use the water and
 have a watered-down-paint-splash-fight

The kids had a blast and it only took a few weeks to get all of the paint residue off the cement in the backyard!

Space School

In April we had a big night where the was a full lunar eclipse along with the brightest Mars for years. 

As a homeschooler I was so grateful to not worry about waking Parker up right before midnight to see the eclipse happen. Need to sleep in? No problem! We love doing school together and running our own schedule! 

Here'a a pic of the eclipse starting.

We sat out on the driveway in our bean bag chair and watched a Bill Nye video on eclipses while it progressed.

Our Home Teacher came over to help out with something. Terra saw that he had a hammer and gloves, so she grabbed a glove and hammer to go out and help, too! 

Plus a hat and church shoes!

 Corin got too hungry waiting for his food, and decided to eat his bib instead:

And I'm so grateful for the ease of taking pictures so I can remember all of their wonderfulness forever

P.S. apparently wonderfulness is a word since it's not getting underlined by a red squiggly line... who knew?

Tieman Pics and Potluck

 We got family pictures done with the Tiemans a few months ago

Our family of six didn't really get a good shot, but here we are...

Individually, though my kids did manage to look at the camera, and of course they are just adorable!

Children's Museum

We got passes to the Phoenix Children's museum and here are pictures from a couple times that we went back in April
